The Four Horsemen arrive.

BUT THEY'RE HELPLESS CHILDREN.

And something's trying to kill them.

Trollhouse: THE LONG MONDAY

Cardinal Juan is personally tasked by the Pope to root out the awkward scandals from the Vatican. He wakes up to an urgent summons from the Cardinal Secretary General. After a bit of yoga and a hot shower with olive soap, he’s still dripping wet when he opens his closet and a pale, frightened little boy walks out of it.

The first horseman.

Three other children appear: in a salt mine in Romania where a witch hunt goes wrong (the booze didn’t help), in Kenya where a poacher needs a hand, and in N. Carolina where small town cop Liz Fawzia lands a bigger case than she bargained for, and where a centuries-old grudge threatens to end the world.

Trollhouse is an interdimensional mystery about children in the beastly world of adults. In three novels, it follows a Cardinal with church guilt, a blind Kenyan woman and her secret admirer, an old Cherokee with more than one life, and other characters as these four mysterious children enter their lives. Through continents and worlds, through epochs and extinctions and eddies in time, strange questions arise: is something trying to kill everyone? Who or what is this mysterious Janus ? Is it really just sandwich seasoning?

And then there’s the thing with the little troll and her huge imaginary dog.
